In 50 years we’ll have ‘robot angels’ and will be able to merge our brains with AI, according to technology experts. Business Insider spoke to six technology experts at Mobile World Congress 2018. They spoke about the future we could experience within the next 50 years.

In the year 2050, technology will dominate the workplace with artificial intelligence and smart assistants being commonplace, while the use of augmented and virtual reality continues to increase. Everything will be ‘smart’ – connected and data-driven. Technology will help us make organizations more personable.

We will all wear a huge range of sensors that will constantly monitor things such as blood pressure, blood sugar and blood oxygen level. Longevity will rise, with many living well beyond 100. Children born in 2040 will have a more or less indefinite life.
