What is MyChart and how does it work?

MyChart offers patients personalized and secure online access to portions of your UR Medicine medical record. With MyChart, you can: View your diagnoses, medications, immunizations, and most lab and test results.

How do I view and send messages in MyChart?

How do I upload a profile picture to MyChart only?

You can upload a profile picture to display in MyChart only. To do this, go to Settings > Personalize, click the Edit button, and then click on the pencil icon. Once you’ve uploaded a new photo, remember to click Save. Here are some common image upload errors that you may see:

Are MyChart messages part of my permanent medical record?

MyChart messages become part of your permanent medical record. MyChart messages are not a substitute for a visit with your provider. Calling your pharmacy is the most efficient way to refill your medication (s). Please see below for instructions on using MyChart messaging on your mobile device or computer.

MyChart is an optional online service provided by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (“OSU Medical Center”). MyChart helps you, as a patient of OSU Medical Center or another health entity who provides MyChart to its patients (“MyChart Related Organization” or “ORO”), to achieve personalized health care.

How do I sign up for a MyChart account?

To create a MyChart account, use the link in the activation email you received when scheduling an appointment. The email sign up links are valid for 24 hours. After 24 hours, you will need to request another activation code from your provider’s office or join online.

What’s new in the MyChart desktop experience?

A new Health Feed displays important alerts from your care team. You can also use the menu and the new search bar to find what you need quickly. Watch the video to learn more about the new MyChart desktop experience. If you use the MyChart or Ohio State MyHealth mobile app, you’ll see also see layout changes in your MyChart account.

How do I transfer my health information from Saint Francis to OSU?

If you have a MyChart account with Saint Francis, you will be able to use those login credentials for your OSU Medicine MyChart account. If you have a MyMercy account, you will need to create a new OSU Medicine MyChart Account beginning October 5, 2020. Your health information will transfer to your new OSU account.

MyChart allows you to access your medical records online – on your mobile device, tablet, or computer, 24/7. It’s confidential. As a Miami University student, a MyChart account has been created in your name. Your information will be kept strictly confidential and only you can access your record.

What can I do with myuhealthchart?

With MyUHealthChart, you can access your medical records electronically online. It provides new, convenient methods of communication with your doctor’s office. You can renew prescriptions, send messages, and schedule appointments – all online.

How do I download a copy of my MyChart form?

To download a copy of the form, click here. As of November 2nd, new features to your MyChart account were added to give you greater access and control of your health information. You will now be able to see results as soon as they are available, as well as complete access to your clinical notes.
