We are a voluntary cooperative of 26 member agencies that purchase some or all of their water from Metropolitan. These member agencies and their sub-agencies provide water for 19 million people across six Southern California counties.

We bring this water to the region from two sources: the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers, via the State Water Project, and the Colorado River, via the Colorado River Aqueduct. The Colorado River has been the backbone of Southern California’s imported water supply for 80 years.
